Nothing funny....

I was beaten by some of the best of those whom dedicated thier lives to servicing young boys and girls.

Butt it got me into good schools later in life...

A good education.  Can't live without it.  Just have to live with the PTSD :huepfenlol2: .

I'm seriously not sure I'd have survived a non secular elementary or secondary school environment.  Though I did once write a perhaps slightly misunderstood letter trying to join a convent for a few nights.  I also, however, later thoroughly enjoyed time in class during the day and over a few beers during the occasional evenings with a few Jesuits.

The all boys high school was worst and toughest almost as tough as the Irish Christian Brothers who ran it.
Talk about frustrated psychotics...

                                                     "Dying For Justice"

  Good morning friends,
Please read Deuteronomy 24:14-22

You shall remember
that you were a slave
in Egypt, and the Lord
your God redeemed
you from there.  Deuteronomy 24:18

Concern about justice for the oppressed is evident throughout scripture. It was especially clear when God established the rules for His covenant people after they were released from Egyptian bondage (Deuteronomy 24:18-22). Moses emphasized concern for the underprivileged (Exodus 22:22-27; 23:6-9; Leviticus 19:9-10). Repeatedly, the Israelites were reminded that they had been slaves in Egypt and should deal justly with the underprivileged in their community. They were to love strangers (aliens) because God loves them, and the Israelites had themselves been aliens in Egypt (Exodus 23:9; Leviticus 19:34; Deuteronomy 10:17-19). God desires that His people affirm the supreme worth of every indiviual by fighting against injustice.

Open my eyes, Lord, to people around me,
Help me to see them as You do above;
Give me the wisdom and strength to take action
So others may see the depth of Your love.

Standing for justice means fighting against injustice.

Have a Blessed Day!
Miss Kitty

There is no way I'd have graduated from an all boys school.  Nope, nada, wouldn't have happened.  Disliked the environment enough with the good side there.  Without them, screw it.

CALMNESS IN OUR LIVES

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could all use

a little more calmness in our lives. By following a simple
advice heard on the Oprah show, you too can find inner peace.

Dr Oz proclaimed, 'The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things
you have started and have never finished.'

So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't
finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a
bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Tequila, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos,
and a box of chocolates.

You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now!

Pass this "prescription" on to those whom you think might be in need of inner
peace.

Drugs, mythologies, placebos; whatever gets someone through their day.

Icy,
I thought deeply about your insightful and liberating post, and decided that I too should look for the beautiful inner peace in my life.  But upon looking around my house,  if I did as you,  I might fall back in to the decrepitude from where I came.  Therefore,  I've planned to finish my "to do list" over several days.

Saturday:
3/4 liter Makers Mark
Last 28 Oxycontin
two twinkies
last 3 slices of cooked ham

Sunday:
Left over take out
1 orange
7 blueberries
1/2 liter Wild Turkey
last of the Vicoden
1 hit of crack

Monday:
2 cans of V8
1 moon pie
1/2 bottle of Lexapro
2 Quailudes
last of the Grey Goose

Tuesday:
Smoke the last 1/2 oz weed
Urgent care for the stomach pump
start 30 day rehab.
as for the 1/4 lb of meth,  I'll turn that in at the rehab.

I want to thank you for showing me the way to enlightenment,

I'll call you when I get out!!!

                                                "Is That You, Neighbor?"

  Good morning friends,
Please read Luke 6:27-36

And who is my neighbor?  Luke 10:29

Jesus saw neighors in unlikely places. When an expert in Jewish law asked Him to define the neighbor we are to love, Jesus drew a big circle. He told the story of a merciful Samaritan to show that a neighbor is the friend, stranger, or enemy that needs help we can give (Luke 10). To distinguish ourselves as Jesus' people, we need to show kindness even to those who wish us harm (Luke 6:32-34). Only then will we reflect the heart of the One who, while we were still His enemies, paid the ultimate price to come to our rescue.

How many lives shall I touch today?
How many neighbors will pass my way?
I can bless so many and help so much,
If I meet each one with a Christlike touch.

Our love for Christ is only as real
as our love for our neighbor.

Love one another with a pure heart fervently.  1 Peter 1:22

Have a great weekend and God Bless.
