You're leading the way with the first mods to an 09 SERG.  First the custom Corbin seat and now the chrome speaker grills.

     I thought about the chrome switches, but I think I'm going to leave them black, and I'm thinking of an Mp3 player ( chrome ) like I have on the 05 Cherry I really like it.

Don;
HD has discontinued it :-\ Keep an eye on ebay for one....

Thanks for reminding me I need to get LD's inner fairing painted Don. Love the chrome, I already had the Kuryakn pieces on my narcelle, but hadn't seen anything for the speaker grills. In a word - - - - - PERFECT

I saw the chrome nacelle covers on the Kuryakyn site a week or so ago. I really like it, but was afraid it would be too much chrome. I think I like it.

FWIW, I'm decidely *NOT* a chromosexual. My 07 FLTR (aka "Red Nipples") has most of the chrome parts blacked out. I'm more a fan of the Dark Customs kind of look.

I'm waiting on my silver 09 SERG. I'm toying with the idea of blacking out a lot of the chrome on it, but I'm not convinced it's gonna work. The Titanium Dust is an interesting color and I'm not sure it'll look good up against blacked-out forks, engine guard, etc. Of course, I found a local powder-coating shop that can powder-coat anything in any one of about 300 different shades. Maybe I can get a good match.

I dunno. Maybe I should leave well-enough alone.

Thoughts anyone?

Don you dog, I missed you getting the SERG.

I agree on the switches, the contrast looks great on your Orange and Black bike. :2vrolijk_21:

Don, that looks fabulous, and there is never such a thing as too much chrome, or at least that is what I'm told...  over and over and over...

Blacking out the chrome on a silver SERG, sounds like it would be a CVO sin or somethin

I think it looks great! Do you have problems with glare when the sun is above and behind you?
