setting up SE Big Bore stage 2 103 kit with SERT

Well i'll start by tell U what i have to work with 09 FLHX with a stage 2 Big Bore kit 96 to 103, stock exhaust, SE pro super tuner. Would like to keep the stock exhaust. I have loaded the Basic map using the super tuner and it works, bike sounds great really cant ride it because of the snow on the ground.  Now the question:  Not sure how to get the best out of the setting using the SERT really afraid to turn the key and get nothing all the advance setting are Chinese to  me


SE air cleaner and breather kit
SE Big Bore pistons
SE Big Bore cylinders
SE 255 cams
Stoke exhaust
SE super pro race tuner

can any one help me

Why the 255's? There are many better cams for a 103 than the 255's. ;)

You bought a kit I guess. What other help do you need then? You'll need a new set of pushrods. I'd put in new lifters too, new stock ones are fine. ;)

If you never did this, you better have a service manual. I'd talk to an experienced engine builder if you're not familiar with how these top ends go off and on. If you are familiar, it's a straightforward job then. :2vrolijk_21:

from your list it looks like the street legal big bore kit.

the map that comes with the sert should work just as is.

get it broken in and go from there

Waste of time and money keeping the catalyst exhaust... My .02   If you are looking for quiet, Search for a set of touring mufflers that came on the 04-05  SE Glide's

for a 09 96", if its not a ca bike it does not have a cat, nor the cat in the mufflers.

if its the kit that comes with mufflers they are still better than the stock mufflers and already paid for.

if its the kit that comes with a cat header - id just leave the stock header on it.

no cat only stock mufflers header came with the kit
