The Road Tech BT 2.0 Helmet system is made by MOTOSONIC http://www.motosonicusa.com/#/products/
and you've the link to the Road Tech : http://www.motosonicusa.com/RoadTech/#/products/600bh/menu/

Motosonic had two products (and the dogle) :
the 700BH
and the BTS-100.

New MotoSonic 700BH Bluetooth enabled communicator from KBC helmets is different and opens up a whole new world for riders on the move.

No more flimsy wires to get tangled, no power leads to worry about, just ‘press and connect’ to any other Bluetooth enabled device, be it the passenger’s MotoSonic unit, mobile ‘phone, an MP3 player, GPS, PDA whatever – if it’s Bluetooth, you can be connected!

Even more impressive is that unlike many less sophisticated units, the MotoSonic 700BH is twin channel, allowing simultaneous intercom use while still connected to the other devices.

Weighing only 38gms and measuring just 70mm x 42mm x 20mm, the aerodynamic, water and impact-resistant MotoSonic 700BH, simply clips to the lower edge of any motorcycle helmet and, using the Velcro pads supplied, the superb wafer-thin, state-of-the art stereo sub-woofer speakers and noise cancelling microphone are also easily installed, all without affecting the helmet’s integrity.

The rider can now use the intercom, listen to music, or, using the automatic voice activated facility, make or answer calls without lifting a finger! Such is the superb audio quality, music can be listened to or conversations carried out at all legal speeds.

Motosonic 700BH Features:

- Voice Command
- Noise Cancelling Microphone
- Subwoofer Stereo Speakers
- Automatic Answer & Redial
- Reject Calls
- Play & Stop Music
- Automatic Connection To Intercom Mode
- Adjustable Volume

- Universal Fitment

- Fits Both Open & Full Face Helmets

- Water & Impact Resistant
- 120 hours Standby
- 13 Hours Talk Time
- 3 Hour Recharge

- 10 metre range

- Weighs only 38gms

- Discrete size, measures only 70mm x 42mm x 20mm

Bluetooth V2.0 Wireless Connection to:
MP3 player
Mobile phone
AM/FM radio
Radar detector
PDA
GPS
Two Way radio
Rider to rider
Rider to passenger

The Road Tech BT 2.0 Helmet system allows not to link two pair for intercom mode.
The only way you can communicate between rider to passenger is by calling on cell phone.
Motosonic 700BH has intercom capability and also BTS-100.
The BTS-100 is a Hybrid model with intercom capability of quarter mile range.

To all:

One of our lead riders in our chapter (aptly named Gizmoh) found what I think is the perfect solution for those of us that use the Zumo 550 ( I think the new Zumo 660 will also work) and would still like to use the CB and intercom.

Cycle Gadgets ( http://www.cyclegadgets.com/Products/packages.asp?pkg=ULT-550 ) sells the Cell Set solution.  It does require removing the fairing and some modifications to the wiring harness (no splicing but need a heat gun) to use the Zumo functionality (GPS, XM, bluetooth to phone, and i f needed MP3 player) with full capability of the HD CB, radio, Xm, intercom etc.

Installation takes about two hours for the first time (and a little knowledge of electrical schematics is helpfull but not required).

The Cell Set does everything  I wanted.  It allows full use of the HD stuff and interrupts(mutes) the HD radio's for five seconds while it provides GPS info via the intercom setup.  With this in place the HD works as normal and anything from the Garmin ie GPS, XM(if used), MP3 (if used) and finally the bluetooth connection to your phone now works via the Garmin via the HD intercom setup.

The bluetooth works so well most people have no idea you are riding a bike (unless your moving along at 85).  Phone book comes up from your phone, home phone, recents etc.  Thought I would never use it until my Granddaughter called me on a ride and I talked to her for fifteen minutes.  Very cool.

Perfect integration.  Have found no flaws.  If you need to talk for more than five seconds, you have to turn down the HD system.

Surely a good way for an integration of the ZUMO in the HK system.

The last step is to cut the wire between the bike and the headset with a blutooth system and to be able to use all intregrated functions of the HK / ZUMO in the headset ......

 :cherry:

That would be even better.  No cord would be great.  Don't suspect that will happen any time soon.

I've actually seen this Kennedy system before. Never knew anyone who used it. Glad to hear it works (no pun intended).

 ;D

We now have six club members that use the system.  On our last road trip to Arizona one of the groups turned the wrong way and CB's were useless.  The other lead called me on my cell set.  Very cool.  Wouldn't want to use it on a regular basis.

The best part is you get full functionality of the entire HD system and all the features of the Zumo.

If you have a Zumo 550 the $320 plus a few hours was one of my best investments for pure functionality.

We have three other rider's whom have ordered.  It actually makes the Garmin fully functional without losing then HD stuff.  My wife even liked hearing where we were going.  Maybe that's a negative.

Re: 98272-09VM Harley's NEW Bluetooth Module--A2P Compatible question
« Reply #24 on: December 22, 2012, 06:39:56 PM »

Does anybody know if this device is A2DP compatible? I can BT between my helmet, iPhone and Zumo, (one device, iPhone to Zumo and Zumo to Helmet) not a problem! I have a Schuberth SRC system that also allows another 'device' ie a Valentine One with the audio out adapter. BUT the SRC system requires the device to be A2DP and everything I have read doesn't say it is? Maybe I'm missing something!

How is this any different than a bluetooth dongle you can plug into your non-bluetooth MP3 player and add bluetooth to it?  Seems to me this is just a repackaging of things already available and no new functionality.

Thread is a few years old.  The device was released then discontinued by Harley.

It maybe exactly what I'm looking for! All I need is for this device to be A2DP and I'm in! iPhone to Zumo, Zumo to Helmet, and V1 to Helmet.
