Oh! Guys
Been there and done that RV/Motorhome thing the fuel and repairs will kill you, fuel is cheap now but it's not summer yet! And everytime we would get ready to go for a trip we'd find something not working and have to get it fixed, Thank God we had an Extended warranty. NO!! you can stay in alot of Motels during your trips and still safe money over the cost of the RV's. I could never get Soozie to cook a meal in one either. :huepfenlol2: Buy a Bushtec like mine and stay in a nice Best Western.

Amen to that, always two days of repair for one day of travel. They have about the same maintenance rate as a Marine Corps helicopter. After two years I couldn't wait to get rid of it. My Bushtec is the way to go.  Doc

I've got a Leesurelite camper. I haven't pulled it behind a bike yet but talked to several who do and they all say it pulls great. Mine will be behind the bike this summer. I chose it for several reasons. It was one of if not the lightest I looked at (255 lbs). It sets up in seconds. The tent part is completely attached to the body which also means that all of my cargo is inside the camper, This is nice if you have to set up in the rain. There are available add-a-rooms for it. from just an awning to a fully enclosed room. And these rooms/awnings can be on either or both sides of the camper. The camper has two doors. I also liked the fiberglass skin. It's not real roomy like some, but the weight and setup time make up for that. I usually spend most of my time outdoors anyway when I camp. There is plenty of room to sleep of course (twin size air mattress) and plenty of standing floor space to change and even some storage. We've used ours quite a bit last year towing behind our cage. we've even been in some rain and stayed dry.

Geez the guy asks for bike tow behind camp trailer info you guys post pics of $60,000+ Raptors or tell him to stay in a hotel  :nixweiss:

I don't bike camp anymore, maybe its the memories of the rolled up bag and tent and sleeping on the ground or maybe it's just being over 40.

Some people just like to camp and it is not about the inconveniences. We still camp, but now it is with a 29' trailer, but it doesn't have room for the bike.

Point is everything is a trade off.

It really isn't so bad if you have the time. Set up and breakdown can be fairly simple once you have your system. And the extra time isn't that big of a deal - the whole purpose of the camp thing is to see the sights.

"inthewind" you should ask Hogasm - Spoiled, they have done a lot with their little camper and still seem to enjoy it. And while your at it you can ask Brian what it's like to hit a coyote at high speed pulling the trailer. I think he'll tell you the trailer is what saved him from getting hurt.

Sleeping on the ground is easy, lots of alcohol.  8)
