My local dealer is dealing on regular bikes pretty dang good.  They would even take a little off a CVO Fatbob or springer.  He will not take anything off the SEUC or SERG.  He has way more customers for them than bikes.  His entire allocation of SERG's had deposits on them in August.  He is trying hard to get more than five SERG's.

Canadian prices went up in December, an extra $4500 for the SERG. With taxes and PDI we're up to $42,500. The prices are expected to jump again in April. A deposit now doesn't secure the price on a bike delivered after the price increase. Needless to say there is no chance of a price drop, a discount or any dealing.

bribe56,

Have seen one SERG (Yellow & Titanium) at Alberta Harley davidson in Calgary, its been their for over a month still want CDN $2,000 over MRP, and your right their is another price increase in the spring, I think it may be another 10%. Taking my 04 SEEG down to Phoenix on Feb 7th, maybe I'll see how anxious dealers in Arizona are willing to deal on a 09 SERG, still not committed to buying one.

Heritage HD in Edmonton has a Fat Bob. It's been there for quite a while now and I know they bumped the price in December. I called last week to see if they still had it and how much. It's still on the floor but they wouldn't tell me the price, odd? Also odd is that they changed the pipes and air cleaner. I know they cater to buyers with big bucks so I'm pretty sure they wont be dealing any time soon

I hope you have luck finding one.  :-\  I was just in the Phoenix/Mesa area last week and stopped in three dealers and the only CVOs any of them had were Fat Bobs and Springers.  All three of them said they can't keep the SEUCs or SERGs on the floor and all are getting over MSRP because of that.  I asked how they can sell them over MSRP when they have so many bikes on the floor, and their response was because we can sell them with no problem.  (It's the Snow Birds with all of their money I guess.  :nixweiss: )

devil,

The Snow Birds Canadian at least as of yet are not in as bad a shape as our American Cousins, if we are spending money in the US for large purchases they better be a bargain as the Canadian Dollar has taken a chit kicking and is only worth about US .75 cents. A SERG MSRP is $37,999 in Canada.

Was just at the the dealer, the price quoted DSRP (Dealer Suggested Retail Price) is CDN $42,317.00 plus $1,620.00 destination charge plus 5% Federal tax, bike would end up costing $42,317.00  + $1,620.00 = complete with tax OTD price of CDN $44,444 approx.

No, unfortunately, I didn't make it over to Hacienda.  I did make it to Superstition, Buddy Stubbs, and Chester HD though.  All of them had a pretty good inventory of non-CVOs and every one of them was quiet as a church.  When I walked in, I was met immediately by a salesperson.  Felt like I had been in the desert for a few months and now the vultures were circling.   :D

Well let's see a SERG at +2K MSRP = $32,000 + .08 tax = 34,560 x $1.25 = $43,200CN.  That doesn't include dealer prep and shipping.  You'd be better off buying one in Canada.   :nixweiss:

The dealer in Baltimore MD is giving deals. Go to www.hdstore.com and ask for Jim Foster. He is the owner. Tell him Muddy Paws sent you.

If your still looking call and ask for Rick Hatch, the owner at Hacienda HD 480 905-1903
He often times supplements his allotment with cvo purchases from other dealers

I have allways been told that a u.s. harley dealer can`t sell a new bike to a canadian, & vice versa. i would check into this before making your trip south.

It is more difficult to purchase a"brand new" from n US Dealer and bring it into Canada, however I have residence in Phoenix and would register it their put on some miles and bring it into Canada legally as a used bike.

i have imported two HDs and three vehicles over the last five years and it is not difficult at all.
