Does anyone know if the seat height on a 2009 Ultra is higher than the seat on on 05 Eagle Electra Glide i could sit flootfooted on my 95 but am on the ;;ball of feet unless i slide all the way up on the seat
(...)

I had an '05 SEEG and an '08 SEUC and do have an '09 SEUC. Obviously the '05 was lowest, as the bike was lowered already from the Moco. The '08 was very difficult to manage, since the seat height was just too high (in my mind). The reason for that was mainly the design of the heated seat. It was better with the standard E-Glide seat. The '09 by specs and by my own judgement sits lowers than the '08. The new seat is much better designed, and is also more narrow to the front, which helps. If you think it is to high, you can go for an air ride system or lower the bike: The HD part # for front lowering kit is, 54564-09, -$149.95, and rear Lo profile rear shocks part # 54635-09 -$279.95. Or you can wear platform shoes, which were fashionable in the 70's.  :D

Ride safely,
Louis

Welcome to the site from Djibouti. I bought the '09 SEUC sight unseen and get back to the states in a few days. Already purchased the lowering kit. Hopefully that is all I'll need. I did sit on the '08's before I came here last year and was on the ball on my feet so hopefully the lowering kit will suffice for me; if not maybe I'll do as Louis recommended and break out my ole platform shoes from the 70's....
