Looks like it moved a bit, but much better than before.  I just hope the one they just ordered for mine works as well.  I'll post pics when I get it, 7 - 10 days

The MOCO replaced my seat about a month ago.  I got the same song and dance about the "acceptable" gap...  I still raised hell and they sent me a seat.

I put it on the bike and it looked much better, just like the one in the above photo.  However... not long after and a few miles down the road later and the gap is back and growing wider as we speak...  what a joke.

Will be ordering a solo probably from Corbin later this week.

I'm on my second seat with same results.  Good at first but gap there after a few miles.  I thought about it a bit and went and checked mt bike.  If you take the screw off on the back, you can slide the seat forward some.  So I thought if I could get the seat to stay forward then that might work keeping the front of the seat against the dash.  So I took the seat tang of the seat, welded a some more material so that.  When the seat was mounted it would push it more agaist the dash.  Here are some pics.

There is a small gap when I'm seated on the bike way les than it was and as soon as I get up from the bike the seat returns to the dash, like in this picture.

Now my disclaimer.  I don't know if this will continue or if it will with time create the gap again.  With or without you on the bike.  But for now small gap when I seating on it and no gap when I get up.  Versus, big ass gap when seating and big gap when not on bike. Let's Roll

OK, crazy thought...  Does this happen to anyone that has a rider's backrest installed?  I am thinking that if the tang pushes the seat forward, which closes the gap, could a backrest do the same thing?

yes the back rest on my bike forces the seat back. but i will have to change the seat because i dont like the way the backrest bracket sticks out of the cvo seat on my SERG.

Find a good parts guy and have him pull several of the seat mounting rear tabs, there are different lenghts available, some longer/some shorter, probably find one that will move the seat forward w/o having to drill the oe one.
