Just wanted to send my thanks to all who posted pictures, phone numbers and contact names, especially Carlos. When I called my dealer about the seat problem they had no idea what I was talking about or who they should call. After sending pictures from this post they were able to get on track and yesterday I picked up the new seat. Thanks Again guys ;D

Does the new seat have a longer front-nose ?
Or a harder bottom-plate ?

The bottom plate is STUPID short... hence the gap.

I had mine replaced with no problem and it fits perfect. My dealer said the word is out and most every dealer should be aware and ready to replace defective seats.

After replacement mine looks like this. Before there was an inch gap between the nose and console.

Mine returned...only not as big as before.  It did so because the plastic seat pan flexes more with use.  I solved this latest gap problem by removing my seat rear mount, pulling the chrome bracket, reaming out the middle (unused) hole and remounting the bracket using only one screw in the reamed center hole installed in the aft mounting hole.  It effectively pushed the seat forward about 1/2 inch and closed the gap.

That`s what i have guessed , they did not change anything at the seat , the MoCo just changed them without modifications , that`s ridicolous .  :-X

Guys........for me, on the normal stance, it looks ok........but when u sit on it, it pulls down and create that nasty gap  :oops:


This happen to anyone?
