Anything else still not done?  Front and back ends or any other chores you tackled while it was down still waiting?  Or when the engine is fired is the bike all buttoned up?

Everything else is done! The front end's been off and back on. New neck bearings, and legs were redone at Traxxion. Fork's back together and on again. Swingarm was off for the TrueTrack TruePivot bronze bearings and SS pivot shaft. Crap! I don't even remember anymore what else. But when he gets the motor back up and running, she's coming back home!!! :2vrolijk_21:

Remembered the swingarm rebuild that the AK-120 rebuild were part of the winter's work.  Just didn't know if they were completely buttoned up.  That's great news then.  Was there ever any further effort with Corbin or have you moved on with the seat question?

Well, they supposedly reworked it for me. Haven't tried it on the bike yet. But first impressions out of the box..............................I CAN'T SEE A DAMN BIT OF DIFFERENCE!!! :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

That's what I thought when I saw the black seat for the red bike.  My eyes did not see the difference. My thighs did though.  Give it a chance.  I'll keep my fingers crossed.

That's what I'll do! They said they put an extra inch of foam in it. We'll see if it's OK now. I wasn't too bad, but Binx had a rough time of it. As long as her portion's good, then so am I! ;)

Did Binx ever try sitting on one of my saddles to see if there was any difference?  If not we'll have to try and remember to do that in May.

Was Good Howie's complaints similar to yours?  I've got three different touring saddles here. The differences between their shape, position and feel are distinct.  But they're all good.  It's struck me as odd that after years and years of dual tour saddles they'd somehow find a way to screw up the SERK saddle.

He had similar problems with comfort and being too hard, as well as it not being cut right for his and Rocky's long legs. That makes it even worse for them than us. :nixweiss:

I think I remember Rocky sitting the black saddle for the SEEG in York last year.  I've been told it's a good pillion.  So it's a shame if that's what the ladies were hoping for and got something so dramatically different.  The SERG's rear seat is actually the widest of the bunch.  Have been told it's almost equally as good.  The tan seat is reported to have a "nice pocket."  It really does up front too.  I find it more comfortable than the black seat.  But without the seat heater it lacks that extra bit of padding and that was a complaint for the rear.  I think that a bit of familiariziation time would have been all that was necessary.  But that seat never got used two up very much.
