Yup! Thats the one. I liked it better than the chrome one and it seems to be easier to access when sitting on the bike. I keep my keys and smokes and registration in there and thats bout it. I learned the hard way with my heritage about soft sided toolbags. I put a fork mount one on it and loaded it with tools and got a nice ding in my front fender when it bottomed out on the tool bag. I learned my lesson the hardway. The chrome one might be better for tools since you won't have to open it as much or while your on the bike, but this is better for pulling over on the side of the road, remaining seated and just reachin into to grab a smoke and a lighter.

Scott,
looks bigger on your bike than in the catalogue, how did you decide left or right? any chance posting a couple more pics showing it from different views. What was the part # I notice they say make sure you get the right one to suit your model, did you need any additional fitting hardware?, will yours still work with rear foot pegs?( I want to be sure it's $200 for me to buy & 3 weeks shipping)

I will try and get some pics of it for ya tommorrow. As far as choosing right or left.............well this was the one they happened to have on the wall at my local stealer so its the one I got. Nothing special as far as I know concerning part number. The catalogue says you will need some additional part number for rear pegs.however it seems as if mine actually came with this part, there is an extension arm that you are supposed to use with the rear pegs..but I dont have em so didn't pay much mind to whether or not anything else would be required sorry.

I also noticed that in your description you added smoked turn signal lenses..........they don't come from the factory that way down under?

No my dealer had to order them in from USA.They have a chrome surround & the smoked lens is recessed(can get part# if required). Noticed your tail light is that smoked? is it a HD part?

The tailight on my bike is a smoke colored LED taillight from Kuryukun. It also has intergrated turn signals and flasshes three times before becoming solid. I also added some lizard lights from the same company, which looks really cool at night. I added a pic that shows a side view including the tool bag and the lizard lights on in moderate light.

Installed race tuner today and had custom mapped and dyno tuned. I thought I read on here someone paid 70 doillars to have their race tuner installed.well mine came out to be closer to 600 bucks in addition to the 460 the tuner cost!

The performance numbers are 97.6 HP ,107.2 lbs trq.

Nice numbers, but are you saying you paid $600 in dyno time to get them?  Wow, that's like 8 - 10 hours at typical Harley dealer labor rates. [smiley=shocked2.gif]

well you can subtract 120 bucks for my thousand mile service, but the rest is 1/2 hour install of tuner and dyno tuning.

Rigman the first run on the dyno was 96.2 hp and 100 lbs of trq. So I did not gain much hp but I did gain some torque and most importantly the air/fuel ratios were way out of wack on the first run. The bike does not have much more power but it feels like it does since the torq and hpo come on a bit earlier now and the throttle is smooth instead of jerky and hesitant off the line. The bike just plain runs ALOT better. Keep in mind that I did not make any modificatins to the bike , just and exhaust change and the race tuner to see real hp gains I would need to change the cam or the pistons or have some head work etc etc. Stock before pipes it was told to me this engine puts out approx 86 hp rear wheel.

So Calibers claim of getting 10 percent more power from using their pipes seems to be accurate because I got a bit more than ten percent before even doing the tuning. The tech seemed surprised, he commented that he does not usually see these kinds of numbers out of a stock 103 running such long pipes.

I just installed my new mustang regal Duke 2 up seat, detachable sideplates, short sissy bar, backrest pad and passenger pegs. Hope to get some pics of it within the next few days. I am still trying to adjust to the looks with the new seat, It does not look better,it does not look worse....just different.
