2007 FLHR SE3 work
« on: February 05, 2009, 12:55:13 PM »

Been readin' lots of interesting stuff on this site and asking lots of dumb questions since last September, so thanks to you all for your patience and input!

But you know guys, just sometimes I wish I hadn't stumbled across this site!!!

I thought I was quite happy!

Bike is going in for the MoCo 110 engine fix (LOL). Only know it is also having some head work, including cams, pistons, etc. etc., exhaust, air cleaner, suspension (both ends), hard bags and a couple of elecrical bits and bobs, oh and probably a new seat (if the Bank can afford it - because I sure as hell can't!) and also a Power Commander.

Will post some photo's but I may have to sell the camera to help finance the work!

None of this would have been possible without the help (not that they knew it at the time) from the members of this forum - particularly Sadunbar, Hoist, Ghost Rider, Jester Whisperer, Twolanerider, BalDeagle and many other regular contributors. I would like to thank you all - my wife would like to kill you all (she is having to wait another year for the new kitchen).  :coolblue:

You aren't planning on bringing the Missus to any GTG's are you ?

Congrats Magellan.   :bananarock:

I can't wait to hear/see how it all turns out.  I am sure your wife understand that you have your priorities in perfect order.  The house can always wait.  My wife is still waiting on a new roof.  At least I got her a new bucket to put under the leak.   ;D :zHole:

Thanks Ghost Rider,

Who wants a new kitchen anyway?? As I keep telling her, with the bike running sweet I will want to take her out to dinner etc more often (on the bike of course) so she won't have to spend so much time cookin' and  all that chit. :huepfenlol2:

Magellan, glad to say I don't have a problem with my wife wanting a new kitchen. The only reason our house has a kitchen is because it came with one!

So if you are going down the hard bag route, where DO you put the flames... and what flame design???

Thought you might like to see some ideas my painter came up with. So the next couple of posts will contain just some photos and no words.

If you have a preference you are welcome to express it  :coolblue:
