Doc,

The work you did with CB helped pave the way for them to produce, what appears to be, a great shield. With some of the confusion around the price early on got me thinking to stick with what I already have - a couple of Clearview Shields. I love the Clearview Shields and plan to keep them and switch my various shields around for looks and comfort. After CB settled on a lower than $300 price for the 14" dark shield, coupled with the 20% off this weekend, I couldn't resist. I have one on order and I have to admit they look great with th SERG gasket and complements the lines of the SERG nicely.

You have been clear all along that you have no affiliation with CB other than your enthusiasm / desire to get a great fitting and workable shield for the SERG. I appreciate your time and energy working with this vendor to add yet another choice for our motorcycles.

Thank You, You will not be dissapionted with the Cee Bailys shields. Hope my new one will be here by the end of the week.  Doc

Thanks

I was told Friday by Joe himself that shipping was by order sequence. first buy, first served. He planned on Quite a few orders so an early order was an advantage. Shipping to Wisconsin was a healthy 22 bucks. I expect shipping would be handled with an expected priority. I really don't think California has priority. maybe if the shipping were free. :coolblue:

The stock should be the one you use in hawai , rock`n roll and hot rod , that`s cool even on hawai .

Guess you have a point there too... I guess that's the problem about not having ridden the bike... I don't know what will suit me and what won't. I wanted to take advantage of the 25% off sale... but I guess if the stick will do for a couple years in HI, then I don't need to spend the 75%... lol

hmmmm  :nixweiss:

The stock shield does not bring any advantage , you could ride without , it`s the fairing that protect your body a little bit , but in summertime rides i guess that i`ll mount it and let me blow the wind round my nose , that`s biking .
Sure on trips about more than 200 miles it would be better to have a tall shield but when you are on hawai and only will have short trips than do not destroy the cool hot rod look of this fantastic scooter , i wouldn`t do .
I haven`t yet a taller shield ( just waiting for the CEE TRSSC ) but riding was not sooooo bad , and i`s cold here in germany , very cold .
You should wait till you have the bike ridden , really . :2vrolijk_21:

I think that is what I'll do... I am sure I can find something else to spend the $250 on... lol

Is the 14" cb windshield measured from the bottom or from the center screw?
