Garage remodel
« on: February 07, 2009, 09:24:53 AM »

I am going to start a garage remodel in the spring, and I need help on what floor to pick? I like the epoxy finish but also like the plastic tiles and the roll out mats. I have just a two and a half car garage and need to get this space under control! I am going to go with the Gladiator cabinets because I like the clean look of them. I am also in need of a heater recommendation , I live in WI. and it would have been nice to have it this winter! I come to you guy's because You have spent my money wise in the past. And pictures  would be great. Thank's HDNUT.:orange:

I have the race deck flooring. looks cool but not good for welding slag. A recessed bike lift is the best thing ive done-makes cleaning and service easy. Air compressor in the attic or outside with piping inside walls before drywall is nice too. Having air everywhere is nice. Lighting is a big deal ive got 10  four bulb fixtures. Ive got metal counter tops for easy grounding on small welding jobs. The insulated and sealed garage doors help with the cold but it doesnt get that cold here. Lots of plugs and a 220 receptical is great.  HD paint job and some tunes and your set! One thing i wish i had done was a tub style sink

Van!

A recessed lift is a great thing.
My next garage will have one IF,
If I can find a lift that raise's the bike 4 to 6" higher than normal lifts.
My concern with the lift sitting flush with the floor is that you loose the height when you raise it.

Ok, the  made me say this....

I believe Van is probably 4 - 6 inches taller then you and he's able to use the lift he has.... so... certainly you should be just fine with dropping yours in the floor. :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:
