Hey guys...I was sitting here and all of a sudden this song came on the radidio. Hadn't heard it in years and made me think of how important this GREAT site is to us. So, I present these words to you to keep in mind when you sign on here that we all are of one but to always beware there are those who will destroy a good thing and we must stand together in unison to prevent such happenings...To the site and hope you like.

There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away

We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, now, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

Had a sudden and unexpected case of the munchies.  Tried asking the refrigerator for food.  Damn thing does not respond to voice prompts.  Damned rude box.  I don't think it loves me.

Just wrap your arms around her; rub that big ol belly round and round against her cold but sensuous frame of a women while slowly caressing her beautiful chrome area to entry and say" Baby I love you for who you are, please let me come in and eat the fruits of your offerings"....................Now, if that don't work and she still remains FRIDGID  :zroflmao:........................................Then do as Sean said..................Shoot the wicked wench  :2vrolijk_21:

You mean you guys have never shot your refrigerators?   :nixweiss:

Almost everybody I know shoots their refrigerators for some reason or other.

I have only lashed out verbally at mine and some times have whipped it with a belt, I think I am becoming an appliance fetishist.

Not any more.  I leaned an old 03 Springfield against the counter in front of it last night and quietly told it "remember what happened to the old cat?"  Damn thing gave me no more trouble the rest of the night.

It's sad really.  Kind of embarrassing for the old fridge actually.  The damn thing is an old friend.  Something you've broken bread with and who has held your beer.  And all you do is try to have a conversation.  Ask it one simple question, "can I have another beer please?"  And it just blows you off.  How rude can a refrigerator get?  Next thing you know the damn thing will be telling you what to do.

That sort of demeaning and disrespectful disregard is unacceptable from what is just an interchangeable and replaceable household appliance.  Not the dear old beer fridge you always thought it was.  Reminding it that the cat was easily replaced got its attention though.  Dumb ice box.  Cold beer too :2vrolijk_21: .

When using a 12 gauge, full choke works best - nice tight pattern.

Just ask the ca..... nevermind.

When logic, conversation nor common courtesies get you home sometimes you do just have to try other alternatives.  Especially when the stupid fridge hasn't learned even though it's been talked to over and over (and over and over and over) for a long time.  Still sad though.  Replaceable household appliances don't deserve that kind of hubris.  It's not like the freezer side has ever done me wrong though.  Nice community of frozen munchies and ice delivery there.  Still, if have to move that community of frozen burger patties to a new fridge so the old one can no longer treat you like a dick so be it.  12 gauge might be fun Iski; but it's probably overkill.

Don...I guess I had a different take on this and submit my sincere apologies as I was unaware this frigid ol fridge was strictly a friend. So, this sheds a whole new light of concern from my perspective and I feel your pain man.

Yes, after all the good times of laughing, joking, sharing personal experiences and the like; it is so sad your ol friend has unexpectedly refused to talk to you and has felt the need to close you out and remain cold to you with it's few remaining acquaintances behind it's closed cold doors. Take pride man in knowing you reached out to it and attempted to repair It's and yours strained relationship with honest, and open dialog. Hopefully over time, It will thaw out to your heartfelt attempts and allow you and maybe even others to break bread and drink a cold one together again...Good Luck man... :2vrolijk_21:
