Complaint Department - What's your btcih - Mine is Vague topic titles

I sure enjoy this site and I have no complaints, well maybe one. Too many topic have titles that are too vague. "confused", "Bad news", "Help",  you get the idea. Is it too much to ask that we add a little detail in the title so I know what to expect?

Am I the only one who is bothered by this?   Anyone else agree?   What's you complaint?

Completely agree.  I almost never look in them if there's no clue what's inside.  Seems easier that way.

I agree with you.  Good posts may get buried beneath a poorly written name of a topic.  Be descriptive in your headings and watch how many more of us will read the content.  Just sayin....

Definitely a consistant problem across all forums... as many as I scan, if the topic isn't something that catches my eye, it doesn't get opened.

My only complaint is I'm not over there in Japan (Iwakuni); spent three years there in 70's an loved it. Maybe I'll get back one day...Thanks for puttin on the uniform and serving...Salute

It's been rough, but my now three year tour will end up being only 1.5... it'll be tough having to cut it short to head to Hawaii... but someone's gotta do it!  :bananarock:

It used to bother the crap right out of me, along with the lousy grammar and spelling, but then I became mellow in my old age and decided there are more important things to stress over.  I have to admit, however, that I occasionally get the urge to "edit" some of the worst examples.  Unfortunately I don't have that authority.

If it really starts to bother you, have a teenager "text" something to you.  That should make what you see here look absolutely clear and accurate.
