curious,will it work?

hve an 01 fltri,not cvo i know,but my  question is for 00/01 fltrsei owners.I have a det ultra trunk and was wonderin if anyone knows if the filler strips on the tour pack mount on serg will work.det mount is the same,was worried about the speakers interfering,any input much appreciated

Looks like speaker pods would clear the filler strips just fine.  These filler strips have been recovered but the size and space occupied are the same as stock.

havin trouble findin "christmas tree"bolts.from schematic its hard to tell but it looks like it presses in from innner to outer.hd pt#27295-00

Those are just little push in plastic things.  Take one of the old ones with you to any good auto parts store.  Common item there.  They do come in various sizes though.  Used on all kinds of automotive panel mounting.

It ain't obvious if you haven't done it before.  Just wanted to make sure you knew you could probably get a whole package of the little buggers at the parts store for the same price the Harley shop would sell two :huepfenlol2: .
