I've lost count of how many times we've been down this pig path. "Loud" to me might be Obnoxiously, Overbearingly Noisy to someone else, whereas Loud to someone else might sound like a stock bike to me..........and all ranges in between. "Loud" "Is What It Is" to each person. I don't have a clue what "Loud" is to anyone else but me and in some cases, folks with whom I frequently ride. My hearing is shot anyway.......so hehehehe.

I have the D&D Fat Cat with Performance Baffle on my 117cid, and
to me it makes the sweetest sound. The motorcycle was louder when it was a 107cid with true duals and Rush mufflers with 2.25" baffles. I think the D&D Fat Cat sounds great, has a substantial "bark," and is the best performing and certainly best looking 2>1 system on the market.
Can't speak to quiet baffles for the Fat Cat beyond speculation that if they are anything like the quiet baffles for the V&H exhaust series, then getting an accurate A/F reading on the dyno will be difficult.........unless these data are measured from the 02 bungs. On the V&H QBs, there was a plug that prevented insertion of the A/F probe. Sure, you can drill through it, but then any "quiet" that was there to begin with "isn't" any longer.
