That's for sure...sometimes difficult to point it towards home as well  8).  I don't have to deal with much traffic, so it's all good.

Gotcha.  I'm Blessed with about 25 miles between home and work.  I can easily double that on the way to work and triple or sometimes quadruple that on the way home.  Nothin' like a good ride to unwind after working all day.   :2vrolijk_21:

Before I got moved to Ft. Rucker, I was posted at Ft. Campbell.  We lived 36 miles from post.  Depending on the route I took, I could take twisty backroads, which included a ferry boat across the Cumberland River, or take my chances with the Tennessee Highway Patrol on 149 highway and get my 100 mph for 10 miles fix.  Either way, I loved going to work and coming home.

I ride the SERK until it snows. Then as soon as the salt is off the roads and I won't freeze the package off, I'm back on her. Too many years of having to carry all sorts of call out gear wouldn't allow me this simple pleasure. Now, it the exception I'm not on the scooter.

I ride to work every day I can when the snow, salt and ice is off the road and the odds are I won't get stuck in a storm. 20 miles each way keeps my head on straight....

I'm a lucky person who owns a Real Estate compnay and gets to ride most days. I even take my clients out on the bike. I average 15000 miles a year.

I ride all year long unless there is ice or snow. Sad thing is I have a five minute ride to work.

my work is to close to home, its quicker to walk across the straight cut than drive or ride in the traffic jams at peak times

Yup, my SEEG is my daily driver for 10+ months a year. My only car is this Lotus Exige, great on the track not so much on the street. It's a cool winter beater car though.  :2vrolijk_21:

Dude.......it is what it is.........how can the truth be offensive?   :nixweiss:
I didn't want to 'dis' any normal folks driving a Civic or dump truck. It's just the combination of illegal & unlicensed behind the wheel that ticks me off.  Today was a good example: group ride to the Swamp Cabbage festival in LaBelle (fun!); nice Sunday drive in the country, but still have the illegals driving really slow so as not to break any laws and get stopped. (Sounds like Cheech and Chong).  :D

When the weather permits, 0nly 12-13 miles to work. Winter pretty much stops us here 5 months out of 12. Rode to work 2 weeks ago, 50 degrees for the high that day. Took longer to clean the bike than it took to get to work. (Road salt & melted snow).........Fuzz

So what exactly gets one's attention to a Swamp Cabbage Festival?
