Thanks !

Also, I took some of that silver aluminum tape on a roll and wrapped it around the top of the connector and light pod.  It looks much better than the end of the harness.  It's available at home depot in the heating department.  Be careful not to wrinkle it and it looks nice.

The end of the indicator harness is long enough to go below the top triple tree, so all that is exposed between risers is the two switch cables and the indicator harness which when ty wrapped togetther don't look bad.

I'll do that later, if it stops raining, if not tomorrow.  May guess is at least 4".

Mikey, I put a straight edge across the rear most end of the grips.  The straight edge crossed the tank at the top chrome ring of the tach.  The bars are 29" across, grip to grip.

Here's the RoadWinder wheel I got new for $250

How, and WHERE, did you get that wheel .... NEW .... for 230 clams   ????????????????

I see that it fits dual calipers .........

anything else that you had to get in order to use that wheel ?

I see they already come with bearings installed, right ?

so, your total cost for the wheel, installed, was 230  ????????

WOW

It was older stock when the wheels were already set up for a particular application.  The specs were 00-05? XL, Dynas except Wide Glide.  They all can handle the dual disk.  It went right in, same spacers etc.  Basically the wheels are the same as a non custom Sporty.
Just cost wheel $250,mount and balance $40 and valve stem $10.  Nice forged wheel, no more spokes and tube.

Hi,
I finally got my new bars on the Bike HD #56085-83T, installed Russle brake lines (three) and a tee. My Throttle cables (Barnett) were long enough but had to get a new (Barnett premium Clutch cable 63.5"). Was able to get enough slack in wire harness by liftin gas tank to reroute wires. The bars are wider. Now I can see past my shoilders. They are 4.5" higher and have a little more pullback for a more comfortable ride.(getting too old to reach the drag bars). I like it!! Hope some one else might enjoy the photo too!
Thanks,
ltank

It will be done tomorrow.  You'll need to find a lapel pin or whatever to silicone on it.  If you want to send me the pin and seat stuff, I'll put the pin on it for you. I'm sending also some of the foil tape to wrap around the harness and connectors.  I'll grab pictures of this for you when I do the final fit on my bike.

OK, I'll have to 'find something'      :nixweiss:

What is the 'size' that I need to limit it to ?  Thanks !

PM me your address so I know where to send the stuff.

I'll watch for the pics of the final fit

Thanks !!

Here's the correct picture.  The "flat area" is 11/2" by 2".  It seems to me to be a great way to really customize your ride.  I had already siliconed the CVO coin to that plain strip of chrome down the top of the tank.  You could even put one of those brass "US" armay military lapel pins.  Like I said you can have the one with the Bar and Shield if you want.

Thanks !!!!!!!  It looks real good ... now I have three things to do

1) get your stuff in the mail to you
2) get whatever I want mounted to it
3) get the pullback risers

1a) change out the risers
2a) test out the new setup
