Jimbob,
Thanks for the kind entry.
The one thing that seems to evade most everyone with a LITTLE MOUTH
is they haven't considered the fact that I am not talking about HP.
I'm talking about landing a shift @4500 rpm's that breaks the rear wheel
loose at the same time I have cracked the throttle.
Because most everyone with a LITTLE MOUTH has kept me busy with replies
no one has heard what happened when I slammed it back into 5th !
It slowed down to 50mph @4500 rpm's, because I backed off, slammed
into 5th, cracked the throttle again, got wheel spin about 2 full seconds
before it launched me to @95mph in about 3 1/2 more seconds. The
Springer SE seat is the only reason I stayed on with its deep design.
It's true that I thought at first I blew the clutch or tranny is why I backed
off, still in full burn. So I quickly decided to get a real warranty when I
slammed into 5th, for the launch then told me I was in full burn all thru 4th.
Somewhere there is a deadheaded old red flatbed truck driver out there
that nobody believes either. PA Route 22 E between Cresson and the Summit.
I noticed him watching me in his mirror when I pulled behind him in his lane,
while in full burn. I took the shot which did take a few seconds to hook up.
I covered the length of that flatbed in about one second @90-95mph when
I had to shut down just as I passed him. Due to the fact that I couldn't lean
the bike to steer it away from the median I was headed for.
The MOCO got this bike right. It appears that I am the only one who has
taken it to its outside edge. Any 07's out there with 16,500 miles or more
living on the East coast?
Can't wait for the LITTLE MOUTH analogies on that 5th gear fact !
I plan on only doing this one more time, and maybe someone I like could
find a place to put the video stream.
