"Candy Root Beer" is already a production color. It was introduced as a special color for the second half of the current model year.

So far the info I have is another ultra. The colors I know of are Candy Root Beer and a Purple/Blue combo that is a Camellian paint. Don't know if the spelling is right or not but it will change colors with the angle of the sun.

More to come very soon.

THE DAWG

The Twilight Blue we have on this years SEUC is already a blue/purple color, changing in sunlight. Anyone think they'll use the same colors again?

Ride safely,

I am not sure if the new models are in production yet or not. I was told by an employee about the colors. I was also told IT IS NOT THE SAME ROOT BEER! I was told it was completely different color. I am just giving you the info that was given to me. When we were at the factory 2 years and the touring line was shut down a lot of the group got to meet this person as we got a personal tour of the softail assembly line. I am waiting on the rest of the colors and the models.

SO DON'T SHOT THE MESSENGER!!!!

Be Safe

It was just confirmed to me that there will definitely be an Ultra SE for 2010.
I guess it is tough to stop producing a best seller!

Also, and this is certainly no surprise that the MoCo is changing the pipes on all touring models in 2010 due to the numerous problems occurring with the '09's.

What is surprising though is that they are replacing the pipes on all touring medels to a 2 into 1 configuration... Hopefully they'll have a phantom pipe to even things up??? :nixweiss:

What problems were there on the 09's with the exhaust?  That really bites if we have a one year stand on this exhaust system from a supply standpoint.  If they put 2 into 1's on, you know it will be an add on to get the ghost pipe and they won't be available for 6 to 9 months.  That also means that unless the old pipes will fit the bike, all the aftermarket companies will be back to the drawing board and again there won't be any aftermarket pipes available for a long time for the 2010's.  Regardless of what they do, the stock pipe will need replaced to get any sound out of it, so I can't imagine them switching unless it's a cost savings to do so...or there's a redesign of the engine to go along with the exhaust change.

It's nothing a hacksaw, a little welding and some "chrome in a can" won't fix!
