It's not up to the dealer or Harley! .......................................
Brad
Brad, I agree up to a point. The tire warranty is still through Dunlop, but these tires are exclusively designed for and supplied to Harley-Davidson and branded as such. Harley needs to join the modern age and stop hiding behind that BS separate warranty from the tire company crap and do what folks like Ford have done, handle the warranty themselves. Dunlop is a supplier to H-D, and if they peddle crap and then refuse to stand behind it the purchasing folks at H-D need to find another vendor. If H-D was worth a chit, they would give Dunlop a choice, take care of the people and get the crappy parts out of inventory, or take the rest of your tires and peddle them elsewhere. I think the folks at Dunlop would be more than happy to handle the problem properly if faced with the loss of all that OEM business. So yes, as far as I'm concerned it's still a MoCo problem. After all, you bought the bike and the tires from Harley, not from Dunlop. You are a customer of that dealer and Harley-Davidson, and they need to step up and take care of
their customers.
