Summer of 1992, just bought a brand new Yamaha 600 Enduro on Friday and Saturday went to an all day/night kegger in a park. With hundreds of people standing there, I tried to manuever slowly through the crowd next to the pavilion and I stalled and dropped the bike in the middle of the crowd. One of the girls, whom I met there that morning helping set everything up, made me park the bike and sit with her. She would not let me leave, as she thought I was too drunk to ride. I finally sneaked away and went home, and came back in my car, as I had planned.
Monday morning rolls around, and I worked as a claims adjuster at the time. My first claim that I received had a name on it that looked very familiar. I called and spoke to this person, found out exactly where the accident happened, which was in the park where the party was. I was certain that this was the same girl that was so worried about me riding drunk. When I asked her if she knew who I was, she had no idea. When I told her, she explained that I was the one person that she did not want to find out about this accident and that she was pretty embarrassed after lecturing me. She hit a tree head on and an empty keg from the backseat hit her in the head on the way through the windshield, knocking her out. Anyway, the car was a total loss and she became a BSR with me for a time period.
So I had an embarrassing moment that was topped by her.
