Springer Tire Pressure
« on: April 12, 2009, 08:11:05 AM »

Manual for my '08 says 38 rear/36 front.  My rear tire was just replaced w/ 5700 miles on it.  Curious what others are running for tire pressure on their Springers.  Obviously, driving habits play a big role, but just interested.  Thanks.

I was running 32/26 but my local shop said to up the pressure to what you say, think higher pressure gives better mileage but with less grip (in our wet climates)

I ride with what the manual states 36front/38rear.  Seems to work for me.

Thanks for the thoughts.  I'll probably take the rear up a little and see how it feels.
