P/N for Antenna Mount?
« on: April 12, 2009, 01:46:29 PM »

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement Radio antenna mount, or maybe the part number?  I snapped the radio antenna off of my tour pak and I need to replace it.  Stupid design that the antenna screws down over the mount and not the other way.  Or maybe just a money maker for Harley....

Sorry, I can't help you with XM.

We've not XM in Europe.

The stud that the Antenna screws on to is removable.  No need for a new mount.  Pull the liner out of the TP, you will see the Antenna Cable on a stud, remove the cable, use a small allen wench in the end of the stud, remove it, now the Antenna stud will come out of the mount.  get a new stud, put it back together.  NO Locktite, that insulates the connection, you don't want that & don't over tighten the inside stud.

The Antenna has a set screw in the very bottom, you must loosen that set screw to unscrew the Antenna.
