Back last week from 7 days of beautiful country in New Mexico, Arizona. Problem was we left 2 weeks too soon. It was a very cold and windy 2300 miles. One day a direct cross wind of steady 40 mph with 60 mph gusts. We were riding on the side of the tires. Not fun but committed so no choice but ride. The motel and cold beer felt good that night. The roadking did a great job with exception of damn cruise control would not stay engaged. It was 27 degrees and I really wanted to warm by right hand on the engine heat but the cruise would disengage if a strong gust or bump hit the bike. Saw lots of snow in the mountains and even cool on the Mexican border. All in all, a good trip but will wait until mid or late May next time. Abby stayed home and kept watch on the farm. She was smart. We both will see you in Eureka Springs in May. Will attempt to post a couple of pics.
