that's a nice Tour Glide for 2010....I sure don't like that black box on the back..looks to much like a Ultra Classic..want-a-bee

Just got my monthly dealer news letter. In big bold letters, it said HD was going to
discontinue the Road Glide model, after 2009. Wonder if there's not going to be an 2010 SERG???

What would be the point of a SERG w/o a  standard Road Glide? It wouldn't make any sense to me. I would think the next logical choice would be a SE Street Glide.

I will be very surprized if there is not a FLTRSE4.  Seems to me all CVO bikes have been a two year run.

It sure would be nice if there is not as ours would be a 1 year run.  I already see to many around me.

I made that prediction last year, so I was off a year. Still doesn't make sence though, will have to wait and see.  :(  Doc

Last weekend at a bike show some guy walked up a announced, "hey, they ain't gonna make these anymore". Made me wonder where this thought all got started. H-D is very tight lipped with product info. For them to "let slip" that they were not making a RG would be a great sales ploy for the 09's. I had an 04 RG that was tricked out like an UC. it had chrome accents that said Classic. From what I have done and seen on the 09 SERG, the MOCO would be best served to produce a FLTRI-UC Make 3000 of those CVO's. But my money is on the SG for CVO 2010.
There is no concrete proof that RG is done, just rumors and hearsay.

I can't see a one year run of the SERG either but can you imagine if it was only one year. The 09 SERG would become such a sough after ride, it would make owners like me very happy.
