Just confirmed the price yesterday on my Silver SERG due to arrive in June and the sales price including handling fees comes to $31,574.00; plus the dealership threw in a $ 1,500.00 gift card.   :carrot:   :cucumber:   :pepper:   Bruce is asking waaaaaay too much.

First off, Congratulations!  Second off, Thank you so much.  I was starting to get really worried.

These rich DINKs fly in there with more money than sense and want to be a biker for a week.  I'd like to meet one of them though to just see what one looks like :nixweiss:

2010 model will be an Ultra Road Glide.  I thought that was done once before, except they called it a Tour Glide. :nixweiss:

Two silver , one orange and one yellow SERG at Russmeyers in Daytona :
( but holy cow , look at the price )

That price wasn't the entire story.  There is a 2nd tag that goes with it for accessories that adds another $2098 to the price tag for chrome engine bolts and chrome front calipers.  Total asking price is actually $47,093.

Newb here.  I read two conflicting posts in this thread.  One stated that there are a lot of SERGs sitting at dealers and another one stated that there was huge demand and that the SERGs have to be ordered and waited for.  I am not trying to bust anyone out, I am just praying that it is the former and not the latter.  I called my dealer on Monday to have him try to find me a Silver SERG, Yellow is my second choice.  I have not heard back from him yet and I am assuming that it may be more difficult to find one than I was hoping.  So, please tell me that they are out there!  I have been waiting for a few years now to pull the trigger on the RG and the SERG put me over the top, plus I just finished convincing the wife that I need another bike.  :)

I think it is a regonal thing.  Some areas are moving the SERG's faster than they can get them.  Other areas they sit on the floor for a little bit.

I have yet to see a silver one sitting on the floor any where.  There is a yellow one on the Floor at Battlefield Harley in Gettysburg PA as of this past wednesday.

As for price, Bruce is way to high.  You should be able to get one for MSRP.

I happened to see both the Silver at Rossmeyer's in Ormond Beach for $45K plus $2K in extras, and the Yellow one at Battlefield Harley in Gettysburg.  I think they had that one tagged at around $33K.  I can't think of any others I've seen sitting in a showroom for several weeks now.  When I was looking for an SEUC to buy, I went on Harley's site and did a search on dealers close to me, and kept expanding the distance from me and going to each dealer's website looking to see if they showed their actual inventory and then to see if they had one.  I found several that way within a hundred miles or so, but they only one in the color I wanted just happened to show up at my local dealer the day I walked in randomly.  When the dealers have them, it seems like everyone is pawing at the SERG's and SEUC's until they disappear.  Everyone is attracted to them and it just takes that one person with the bucks to make it happen walking in, so neither of them last too long anywhere.  I remember last year, you couldn't find any SEUC's sitting around and then around July, they started appearing in every showroom in my area. Some had 2 or 3 of them that lasted for several months before they all disappeared.  The bikes should continue to come in to dealers, but around that time of the year, I think there are more serious buyers that might hold off for next year's model.  That's what I did when I found out about all the changes that were coming for 09.  Suddenly, the 08 I had been looking for was not what I wanted anymore.

Smoky Mountain H-D has an orange/black on the showroom floor.  865-977-1669 ask for Shane, he is a friend and sales manager.   MSRP I think it was priced.

I walked into my local dealership to get an oil cooler for my bike and walked straight into a silver SERG. They had traded their SEUC with another dealership is the only reason why they got it. It now sits in my garage.  :2vrolijk_21: I got them to discount the bike and throw in my first service with the deal. To be fair this is my third bike with this dealership so it was probobably not your off the street deal. I had not been gone from the dealership an hour when someone showed up to buy it. I was (for once) at the right place at the right time!!   :huepfenjump3:

There is an O/B SERG at the HD dealership in Kingman Az with a sign on it that says, "Your wife called and it's ok"    It was priced 2k over but a 2nd sign gave you the sales manager's cell phone to call directly if you were interested.

For those who are about to pull the trigger on a SERG the question has become do you buy a 2009 for approx 31k because of price and you love one of the color  combos or do you wait for 2010 SERGU hoping you will like the new colors, and a price tag of 36k which will include tour pak and other goodies.

Yep, the dealers email says no RoadGlide for 2010.  The COO was asked this and he said 2010 will have a RoadGlide in one way, shape or form and we should be very happy!   Hmmmm........   FREE RoadGlide's? That would make me extremely happy!!!!

Maybe they change the name to Ultra Tour Glide and add TourPak, etc.  THAT would be one fantastic bike.
