The new American Iron Bagger mag has a 110 tech piece in it. It say two ten core oil coolers might restrict oil flow and the oil pressure my be affected. I just read that this morning. I don't believe everything I read but thought I would mention it in this tread.

Donny does not go into detail in the mag. article, but in his book he says that HD restricts the flow of oil though their cooler to get their 8 row to preform like a ten row,  for this reason he & Jagg both do not recommend placing another cooler (of any brand) in tandum with the HD cooler.  One can place two Jagg coolers in tandum because they have 3 &1/2 LESS pressure drop in them.  That is what I have done.

Jett.. Sounds like you did your homework. And with the cost of these bikes you have to. Nice pics and NICE BIKE it almost makes me want to upgrade.. If only the 113 didn't run so good I could find some reason for a new one.

The coolers are run in tandem, or I guess you can say in series, first two passes though the right one then over and two passes though the left one then into the engine. Also with the use of the Jagg adapter the oil runs though the oil filter first then on to the coolers.

I believe the HD adaptor runs the oil thru the filter first also. Do you have any oil temps yet with the coolers in series?  Thanks Doc

From what I have read the HD cooler runs the oil though the cooler then to the filter, at least that's what I remember reading (I loaned the book out)

I have as yet not determined what the temp. will run, will advise when known.

From your picture it looks like most of the cooler is blocked by the mounting bracket.  The fins should be in the air flow, not almost perpendicula.
