Record breaking temps in the east.

It was hot but great riding weather. Axil and I logged over 500 miles in 1 1/2 days. I got home from cooking yesterday afternoon and hopped on Punkin to go meet Axil. We had a great time meeting up with some very old and good friends at a local watering hole in Mt Airy Maryland. Got back home last night close to midnight. Got in a good nights sleep ate some good BBQ for breakfast and hit the road again. Took in some nice scenery along the way. The temps broke records both days as we saw the Mercury hit in the 90's both days. After riding most of today we stopped in Manasas Virginia for a few adult beverages and some great wings. We parted company and I headed home. After a chilly 75 mile trip back to the Mountain I am now ready for bed. 

It was a great time and the weather could not have been any better. And I was in THE DRAMA FREE ZONE!

300 miles saturday in the heat. It was great in Virginia.

80's here in New England both Saturday and Sunday.  The bikinis were out at Hampton Beach, although the locals were wearing their "winter white" complexion.  Several hundred miles spread across the FLHRSE and the FXR4.  Like them both, in different ways.

92 on saturday in North Carolina...Went riding with some newbies (bought the bikes in winter) girls were wearing sandles,shorts and guys were wearing shorts and thick button up shirts...after the end on the day the girls complain of hot pipes on there feet and the guys had burn marks on there legs and ended up buying tank shirts because of the heat...some people you cant ever tell them anything.  ;D

Chip don't edge him on. I have heard about the "NO SHOW" in the Outer Banks for the last week. I know that bunch will not let me live this one down! I just hope those "OLD GUYS" will forget soon!

I've figured it out. Dawg gets lost south of the Mason-Dixon Line and can't read a map. :Vrolijk_8:

MIKEYTEE I already live south of the Mason-Dixon line and remember I am a Sergeant in the District of Columbia Fire Department and I ride in the right front seat we don't have any map books. So at my age you want me learn a new trick????
