I will post pictures and my impressions.  Talked to KW for quite a while.  Seem like good people.

Should have it installed by the 15th of May.

 8)

Seems like the KW 10.5 shield for the Ultra's is now available and I should have mine early next week.

Pictures and a review to follow.

Yes, it made a huge difference.  Rode the bike for the first 800 miles with non-stage one and Rinehart slipons (which sound great but are pricey).  One of my friends is an aivd aftermarket tinkerer and said the CAT had to go.  So at the 1000 mile checkup the dealer installed a set of '09 96 non cat header pipes.  OMG, the ride home was an enormous difference (3.5 miles).  I had ordered and it had arrived the Stage one from Fuel Moto with the Power Commander V with the Autotune (with WB O2 sensors).  The power and torque was immensely better and to my suprise my gas mileage improved a couple of MPG.

Throttle response, low end even high end was better.

I have had no tuning but here is the WFO numbers before and after:

Before:     81 HP  106 ft-lbs.
After:

Hit the wrong button:

Before:    81hp  106ft-lbs
after:      97hp  114ft-lbs.

Very quick dyno one run and I wasn't there.

However, one of my SE friends spent lots more money on HD SSERT and Dyno cost to get only 2 more HP and 3 more FT-lbs of torque.

It is great two up and will runs all day at over 85 (with poor gas mileage but I didn't buy it for the mileage).

I do get over 41 mpg when I am riding it reasonable.  I never ride conservatively.  Can't stop twisting the throttle.

 :o

Yes, I understand the loud issue.  My 07 had D&D 2-1 and was obnoxious but great power across the whole band.  But after 8 hours in the saddle it took an hour for my ears to not hear the pipes.

I think the key to the numbers is the WB O2 sensors with Autotune.  Auto's and planes have used WB sensors for a very long time.  This allows the engine to change relative to gas, air temp, humidity changes in altitude etc.

I had the TMAT (Thunder Max on the 07 and it was great , but they don't have a version for the 09's).

I actually quieted my Rinehart's significantly with the pipe baffle material from Fuel Moto (30 bucks, yes $30).  Took less than an hour start to stop.  Quieted them down and changed the sound to a lower pitch.

All of this info came from Fuel Moto (Jaimie).  They were great, set a modified map for my non-cat, Stage one and Rinehart's and let the PC V and auto tune take over.

Don't even feel the need to get it really Dyno's because I'm sure the Lazano brothers would want to tweak it.  All race guys want to squeeze out every last bit of power.

I have two friends that have the Full Sac baffle replacement for the stock HD and they are not loud at all.  Sound very good.

thanks for the info!

I am at minimum going to do the stage 1 and some sort of fuel management for now. My last bike had the HD race tuner, i dont think i really want to go down that road again and would rather stay with something more mainstream.

My KW 10.5" is on its way shipped yesterday.  Should have it Tuesday.  Tinted.

Lots of RG guys love theirs.  Looking forward to seeing if it will satisfy the wife and allow me to see over the shield.  It will only be .5" taller than my stock SE shield.

Pictures hopefully Tuesday night.

Review later.

I Ride with my 3rd windshield. The stock was too short, the HD 12 1/2"? was too tall and i had to look through it which was ok unless it was raining then the water would go up in the front and down on the inside. this was way too distracting so I chose the Cee Bailey windshield. It is aircaft quality so he optics are great if and when you do look thru to spot pothole etc.. The style i chose was the Super step contour lt grey 14". now i look ovet the windshield and the only buffeting i get comes from below.
You can check out thier website, ask for Joe. http://www.ceebaileys.com/cycle/index.html.
The quality of thier windshields in my opinion far superior than KW. I have them on all 3 bikes.
