Free NRA Membership
« on: April 28, 2009, 11:15:06 AM »

I received an email about free memberships being offered for 1 year from the NRA.     I called and verified the email address and the data from their call center.

FREE NRA MEMBERSHIPS, NO STRINGS ATTACHED, 1-YR

The NRA is giving FREE 1-yr memberships to everyone that wants to join.  Please join and pass it around.  They are trying to build up their membership against these sorry laws current administration is trying to pass against our rights to bear arms!

I think they are going to need the #'S when Obama starts to crack down on guns and ammo.

I would like to add a comment to this thread. I went to a Gun and Knife Show a couple of weeks ago. First time in a few years. I was blown away by the prices on guns these days. What gun that I would call worn out and ready to be trashed was going for premium price. For instance a Marlin 30-30 lever action in bad shape going for 500.00. Or a Mosburg 12 gauge that was totally abused by its last three owners going for 400.00. Both these were not worth but about 100.00 a year ago. I support the NRA and all that it stands for. But what these people are asking for Guns these days is ridicules. Is this the same everywhere? I was in Port Arther Texas.

Supply and demand!  Guns are flying off the shelves everywhere.  Ammo is off the charts.  I went to a gun show recently and 1,000 rounds of .223 used to $150 about 3 years ago, and now is about $400 if you can find it.
