Thanks again for the suggestion. Sometimes I over analyze things, especially when the HD manual says use a certain tool of theirs.

Ouch! Impatience does have its' price. That's about 1/10th what I paid for a brand new header. Oh well, after paying MSRP for the bike, I feel good about doing my part to spend us out of the recession. Unfortunately, I did not get any bailout $$ to do it. :)

I just disconnected the O2 sensors at the connector and left the wires dangling, then I removed the head pipe with the O2 sensors still in the head pipe.  After that, I used a 7/8 box end wrench (fed the wires through the wrench) to remove the O2 sensors and reinstall them in the other head pipe.
That is exactly what I did. Have a friend putting in Freedom baffles. Will let you know how they sound.  :huepfenjump3:

2009 non-cat head pipe on ebay - current bid is only $29.99
Looks like he is even including the heat shields and crossover.

You can get them now for almost free if you find a cooperative service department at a dealer.  As I posted above, I got mine for a $50 contribution to their pizza fund.

I did not read every comment here........but on another post,  I believe I related trying to sell some parts from my 2009 110 SE Ultra.  That would include the header pipe and heat shields too as I replaced them with Vance/Hines headers.

Let me know if any interest.......the whole setup will be put on Graigs List next week for sale...

Unfortunately, the header pipe from your 2009 110 SE Ultra has a catalytic converter.  What everyone is looking for is a non-cat header pipe.
