Know some of you have the mis-fortune or honor of riding on our installations - as of last week you will not need the vest any longer...

Rest of the PPE stuff stays the same - gloves, long sleeves and trou and hard sole shoes (over the ankle strongly encouraged)

Talk about mandating a riding jacket, but I think that will be a local commander thing, and could open a whole can of worms if you go from one to another and they have different rules.

Figured some of you might want to know this.

About time someone got bit by the common sense bug!

THe AF Instruction doesn't require it... but the MAJCOM and base instructions are allowed to be more restrictive... and that is usually where it is added in.
