Very interesting video. I like the idea of a self tuning system. It is the future for these systems. I'll have to talk with Brian @ T-Man Performance.

Unfortunately, they still have not managed to come out with a Thundermax that will work with the 08 or 09 touring bikes with the Throttle By Wire.

 8) :-\ :-\ :-\

That why I went with the PC V with autoune.  Had the TMAT with the 07 SE Ultra and it was great.

The PC V (with Autotune) on my 09 is even better, along with the ABS brakes, frame, better exhaust, and better tires.

And yes, I agree the self tuning feature will adjust for altitude, humidity, gas variations etc.

 ;) ;) ;) ;)

Great.  I had basically the same setup on my 07 except the cams (stayed with the SE 255's, I like them).  The D&D's are great but loud.  That said the bike ran great, fast and sounded good.  TMAT has so many items it can adjust, it is a solid product.

Have fun with the bike. Ride safe.

Unfortunately, they still have not managed to come out with a Thundermax that will work with the 08 or 09 touring bikes with the Throttle By Wire.

I'm in line for one but also keeping my eye out on something else too. T-Max is saying any day. If and when they pull if off for the 08-09 touring, these things are going to sell like hot cakes. I had a DTT Auto tune in my 07 CVO and loved it. The T-Max is a lot more user friendly to use over the DTT but both accomplish the same fantastic results. Once the fly-by-wire version gets out on the market, you will no doubt hear a bunch of hog wash from 'certain' individual(s) claiming wide band sensor are trash, but when you do, just consider the source and motive.  :2vrolijk_21: I'm suspecting, right at the same time T-Max launches their fly-by-wire version, we are going to get introduced to another product in piggy back fashion to the OEM ignition but offering wide band auto tuning and completely in a different way.  :2vrolijk_21: Just hang on to your pants, this one is comming.
