Misty Mate.........
« on: May 20, 2009, 12:07:56 PM »

A few people have asked us about our misters.  With summer here I thought I'd post this for those who suffer riding in the heat.  If you're a little skeptical of a gimmick....let me say that I was to.  I've had it for about five years now and it coninues to work and it works very well!

I've recently wrote to Misty Mate, suggesting that they incorporate the coiled hose onto one of their larger portable misters, like the 16 oz. or 24 oz.  The only down side of this one is it's to small and runs our after an hour or so.  We just strap them on the tour pack (or the back seat when riding solo), pump it up, clip the nozzle to my pocket and use as needed....spraying my face, neck and shoulders.  It does make a huge difference if you're riding in 90+ temps for any length of time.

I was totally against it.  My ex brought one on the bike and riding through Az. all of a sudden I felt a cool mist.......I was sold on them after that. :2vrolijk_21:  I gave that one back to her, once I got one of my own. :huepfenlol2:
