Leave 'bread-crumbs' to be able to re-trace a route back. Can you just enter a location when you are physically there and re-call it to return to that location? Like you do 'home'. spyder
You can save a particular location as a favorite. Next time you are somewhere that you want to save click on the motorcycle icon on the screen it and will ask you want you want to do. You want to save it as a favorite that you can name. Then the next time you want to go to that location you can click on Where To > Favorites and then the favorite you named. This will get you back to that location, but may not take you back on the route you originally used to get to it.
The GPS will also create tracks (bread crumbs) of rides you do when the unit is on. When you get back home you can hook the Zumo to your computer and download the tracks and save them as a route for future use. So all depending on what you want you can get the place or the route.
If downloading the route is what you want next time you want to do this you can give me a call and I'll walk you thru the procedure. It's not that complicated but it's better for me to explain as I do the procedure w/you. If you don't already you may want to download this -
Mapsource Tutorial. Once you get that you can use the find feature and search for "tracks" and they will have step by step directions on how to get them from the Zumo to Mapsource then saving them.
