Steve, if your shop won't use anything but Harley lubes, tell them to use Formula+ in the primary and trans rather than the SYN3. It's Harley's latest gear and primary lube, and it works much better than motor oil in those two holes.
BTW, warranty doesn't usually cover worn out clutch plates, just like worn out brake pads, unless there is a specific defect that caused the plates to wear prematurely. At 15k miles I wouldn't count on warranty replacing any friction materials. On the plus side, it is highly unlikely that a worn clutch is causing your issue.
As for the neutral light being intermittent, the plunger on the switch may be sticking when the temps get high. I had one do that on a previous bike. If that's the case, changing to a better trans lube may correct that issue as well. If not, the switch probably is covered under the extended service agreement.
