It was a great day Soozie and I had a blast, this group is awesome. It was only the second time for Soozie splitting and it wasn't near as long  as this traffic jam was she did a great job also. Hope Marty has as good a time as we did

This was in California right?

Last few events out there I have seen posted everyone has on heavy coats and gloves.

What's up with that?

 For Don and I we left the house at 6am and it was  a bit cold. When I got to monterey one layer came off. Then another layer came off when we stopped before we split off with the so cal group. Clothes  kept coming off at each stop. It can be a bit nippy near the coast here in Cali.

I was just thinking Calif, you know, bikini's, convertables, rollerblades.

Full face helmets, heavy jackets and chaps just don't seem like Calif attire in June.

Besides the coastal fog (which usually burns off by noon or so) that Ernie mentioned, it's been ten to fifteen degrees cooler the past couple of weeks in Nor Cal.  We're not complaining, I think most of us were enjoying it.  But back to normal......supposed to be 100F here today.

 Close to the end of Carmel Valley Road we stopped for goodbys, the chaps and jackets were coming off before the bikes stopped. Funny sight.

First of all, I want to thank Paula, Dave and Donna, which I have many times.

Second, Ernie was great for tuning up the Norcal crew. Don and Soozie woke up early and rode thru rain and wind; Chris and Ann over the bridge thru town and all the other riders that took the time and effort to ride so early to meet up with us.

I enjoyed riding up to Monterey; I’ve been there a couple of times but never for any length of time. Just walking around and having a bite to eat was fun. Traffic was a little crazy but I guess we were not the only ones that enjoy being there.

I thought of coming home via Carmel Road would be fun, but I never thought I would have 10 bikes around me.

A big thanks to you Trapper for the audio part of the ride….
