Great news Guys, I had so much fun this last 11 months with my paint issue, that I get to Do it ALL over again.....Got a message from John on my voice mail, Basiciallly saying that when I pre inspected the parts before installation, I therefore accepted them as OK. lets get this str8, I NEVER told The Service Manager that I accepted them, I said, from what I can see they look ok, I trust that if they are not right, then it will be corrected", Period. I only took out 1 bag and set it next to mine, opened up the fairing, and looked at a 5 inch square of unwrapped paint. and 1 side cover. All this was done on a rainy day under flourasant lite. With the flashlite, you can see the flakes in the fairing and front fender, but there are not very many at all, in the sunlight, you cant see any flake, almost pitch black. John is right, its my fault, I should of had my attorney with me, and the proper papers stating that once they are on the bike, IF THEY are NOT RIGHT THEN....wtf, I feel scammed, I should of waited till the sun was out when I picked it up, and then said 'no', then I could of left my bike there again, as if the countles hours I have wasted on this so far mean anything, this has cost me nothing but grief, and money, it takes a lot of time away form my earning a living,
He said he'd send the rep to the dealership to say if they are 'acceptable' or not, the same Rep who told Drons that there is nothing wrong with it 11 months ago with the original brown paint. Thats great if he is keeping the bike, but hes not...I am. , You said, "Mike, if you are not happy with the new parts, we will do what it takes to make it right".
please tell me this is what a brand new factory paint job looks like after a complete detailing BY A HD DEALERSHIP and then 3 more coats of wax?, see picture below.....
