Pick up my bike, BCC, Saturday with all new painted parts, except rear fender. No flaws, and the ridge is there on the stripes.
She looks great, I can not be happier. Like I was riding a new bike. When I got home, even wife said "WOW" she is beautiful. It took a long time, but, Dealer (Four Rivers HD) stood behind me all the way on the issue. They inspected parts before installed as well as me.

I am a happy, biker, now. My ride looks great!!

Well, got the last part, outer fairing (second one), installed last Tuesday. Got it all waxed this weekend and it really does look good now.  [smiley=pineapple.gif] [smiley=pineapple.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] No milky look, just black. It all only took 8 months but it was worth the wait.

You can definitely feel the stripes now but that's OK, as long as it looks good.

I only hope those that are still waiting get taken care of also, and soon.

Boji,

How's the crimson flake look in the black?  Have you had it in the sun or bright light?

Rjob,

Rolled it out in the sun before brining it home and I'd say the flake is about the same as original, maybe a little less if anything but plenty of it. All the parts seem to be pretty close in how the flake looks too. The first fairing they sent had very little flake plus the stripes on one side were crooked. Could be that fairing is still around somewhere, beware.......

Mike,

Best I can remember, the first one was to be installed the very first part of October. They probably sent it back to HD soon after that and ordered the second one. The second one was installed on the 5th, last week so it must have come in late November. The wife is a lot better at remembering those things but she's asleep right now. I'll check with her tomorrow and see if I'm close on those dates.....
