Can everyone with paint problems, post a pic of the problem, I am keeping a file and sending it to the motor company along with the letter I spoke of the other day.

Thanks

Saw this bike on EBAY 1-22-06 and look at the inner/outer color difference!

Wrongway-I was justlooking at the same bike on Ebay and thought the same thing.  Thanks for showing the pictures.  The 2nd picture seems to show the inner fairing the best.  It does look like it matches the tank.  Could be the lighting?

The latest from "as the paint turns" rep had the bike buffed and I will admit it looks a little better but not the same.  They agreed and are ordering me new parts, however the rep was told by the MOCO that the new parts will look the same.  I said we will have to wait and see.  Also very understanding and he has the "whatever you want, we are going to make you happy" attitude.  I will keep you all updated.

This is good news, I hope the new paint looks correct and matches! What parts are they replacing?

Just returned from the dealership where my new Haze is being set-up. I looked it over real good and all I can say about the paint is my jaw is still on the floor. I haven't seen a photo yet that does these bikes justice.

Congrats hdhighwayman! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I agree with you about the pictures not doing the paint justice.I have not found any flaws yet. I think the lighting  angle changes the colors.I think the above Haze photos just show different light angles and there is no paint flaw on that bike either. But you can only tell in person.
It's intesting to see what your dealer or DMV will title the color as, I got my title and the dealer had DMV title it as a CRM/BLK bike I asked what that was and they said factory called it a Creme/Black combo. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

We are going to start with the bags.

They said "a few weeks"  this is a bit shocking but we will have to wait and see.  50 out today going for a ride.

I just came back from the local dealer and they have a haze on the floor that was just rolled out today. I looked at the paint very closely and there is a difference in the lids and bags and the inner and outer fairing. The solid color pieces have considerably more metal flake in them and the color is not as deep. I don't think its as noticable as the black because the color is so much lighter.
