The d00dster does exist

Here are pictures to prove it!

Was talking with d00d the other day and he mentioned he was taking his bike in for servicing

I knew that photo's were needed to dispell the rumor that d00d doesn't really exist.

Also I had heard he sold his bike to fund his Zumo habit.

Soooooooooooooooooo, a quick trip to Shenandoah Harley Davidson to take a few shots so the truth can be known.

Yep, he does exist.

Here's proof, the d00dster standing next to my bike. (it hasn't rained in three weeks, except today, on me, on the way to SHD)

So we now know he exist, but does he have a bike?

Bingo! Another mystery solved!

YUP, he does, and   he didn't ride in the rain to get it serviced.

So why did he look so unhappy.
He had a new rear tire installed and that's his "I'm pissed" look.
When he found out they were out of stock on the chrome wheel spacers he wasn't happy.

But his "pissed" look changed quickly as SHD played soft music over the intercom with a subliminal message saying,

" d00d, Yo d00d, come hither to the showroom we have something you need to take home!"

WOW, were they right!

Does this fit the King of Orange and Black or what?

I offered to ride it home for him.

Where's that poll? Does d00d need an 09 O/B SERG?

Now is this a happy camper?

He's thinking, "wonder how long I could keep it in the basement till Mrs. d00d finds it?"

"I should go ahead and get it, that Chip keeps telling me it easier to get forgiveness than permission."

"He's so smart."

The above should dispell all those rumors.

He does exist.

I had to ride 597 miles to prove it, but any excuse for a ride is a good excuse.

Even if it rained on me going and coming home!

Yea I knew something was up from all the innuendo's Chip was giving off yesterday... "I've got a busy/long day tomorrow" (today)... I'm in the dealership and my phone rings and it's Chip... We start talking and I think the signal is breaking up... I say "You there??"... he replies "yea, where are you?" and my reply was "at the parts counter drinking coffee" and he then says "heh, or look around" or something like that. That's when I turn around and see him walking up.

May not have rode it over in the rain, but my arse got soaked to the bone on the way home. Didn't leave there until about 3:45 and it started sprinkling on the way out the lot. I thought "ah hell, this will just be a little shower I'll ride thru it and not bother put on the rain suit". Wrong!!!!!! Only thing that happened was at times it wasn't "gully washing" rain.

Yea!!! No chrome wheel spacers in stock. I figured a part like that they would always have at least one set in inventory just to "sell up" to a chrome junkie like me. Last time I had the tire replaced I forgot to get them and thought since I was getting a new rear tire this would be the perfect time to add some more stealth bling, but the stars weren't aligned for me.

The sales people at the dealership want me to buy that bike real bad too, but it ain't happening. They only want me to buy it so I'll trade mine in... they've been drooling over it since I had it, and almost positive if I traded it one of them would buy it before I finished paperwork on a new one. Only way I can get that 0/B SERG is if I hit the Lottery, and hell right now I'm to poor to pay attention no less buy a lottery ticket.

Gary, I was going to be a wisea$$ and ask how you could get enough miles on the bike to warrant a new tire but thought better  . Besides, Chip told me not to.
I will admit that SEEG is one fine looking ride!  I just couldn't see the hinges.

Today was it's 5yr birthday, clicked 25k on the way to dealership this morning... so I'm averaging about 5K a year, and that's the second back tire. I got 15k out of the original back tire on the bike, but decided not to stretch this one out as far.

Thanks ... In regards to hinges... I'm sorta like you... I've got them, but.....
