Trailer size suggestions

Any recommendations for the best size enclosed trailers to handle two Electra Glides?  Recommended manufacturers?  I'm thinking 14' minimum and probably 16'  What about width?  Is 7' enough?  Thanks for your suggestions, PJ

I'd go 8' wide and 16-20' long so you have plenty of room for other gear.

I see a lot of people with 7' x 14' with the V-nose.  That has plenty of room for 2 baggers, plus
the nose section for other stuff. If you can afford it, get an all aluminum. They weigh about
800 lbs less then the steel version. Thats almost the weight savings of a third bagger.

Minimum width 7' for side by side towing with an enclosed trailer.
Wells Cargo makes some nice ones. Length up to you depending what all you want to haul.
Personaly, I would go at least 14'. I prefer open trailers myself.

I have a single axle 6x12 with the slightly rounded front that worked fine for hauling a Deuce and a Sporty. Now it is too small for a bagger and a Deuce, and you have to be careful how you load stuff not to get too much or too little tongue weight. The front caused it to catch a lot of air and raised gas consumption considerably.

If I had to do it again it would definitely be a double axle, V-shaped nose, minimum 7x 14 or 16.... I would also install a portable shower, LOL..

7 ft width is the minimum for two baggers for sure.

I agree with the 7 foot minimum and only if it's long enough to "stagger" the two bikes.  Other-wise go with an 8 foot wide trailer........and in either case,  the "V" front or at least a "bubble" on the front to deflect the wind is absolutely necessary.

I say this cause as someone above already pointed out.......your milage will go down the tubes with a flat front trailer................been there.........done that. :'(

7 x 14 handles 2 baggers.Mine's a tandem axle because I like the extra weight capacity for the safety margin.

Thanks for the replies...lots of options out there.  Hey George, can that Toy Carrier handle two baggers?  I saw the ad photos, but the fit looks kinda' tight.  What's the approximate price on one of those?  Thanks, PJ
