I had the same issue on my first long distance trip with the wife.  After about 150 miles our butts hurt bad!  Stopped at a dealer and they had a Sundowner in stock (PN 52093-08 I think).  Put that on and all was better.  Wife was happy again!    The hammock sounds good too!

Here's the link for the HD Hammock Seat:
http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524448772959&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374309043229&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374309043229&bmUID=1246992059455&bmLocale=en_US

P/N 53051-09   List $500, about $400 at Chicago HD or Zanotti HD.  I believe the CVO Ultra heated version had a list of around $900.   Here's a picture of the hammock on my bike.

Also, here's a comparison photo of the stock SERG seat, the CVO Ultra Hammock, and a stock ultra seat.

Lepera, the Sorrento or Maverick, great Company to deal with

I've been considering Lepera.  Do you have it on your 09 SERG?  Any Pics?

The HD signature solo plus the passenger pillon is also a great and comfortable seat which pushes you 1 inch up , i love this seat on the CVO roadglide , the comfort and the look too .

Great pics, thanks.  The stock ultra seat looks decent.  Large, but decent.  Anyone put one of these on their SERG yet?

Any seat that Eglidegoodies sells is someone else's brand that they are remarketing. Try Saddleman, Mustang, Corbin etc. Those are there seats they are selling and you can get discounts from a lot of places on the brand seats, but not from Eglidegoodies. Also they do not offer the best service available. My own experience talking here.

I put a Hammock on my 09 SERG and I really like it. It does raise you up at least and inch which I don't really like so I'm probably going to lower the back end an inch.

Comfortable on long trips; a world of difference from the stock seat.
