Sold this one about a yaer ago, had it for a long time. Each time I wanted to ride just walk up kick it max twice and the thumping stated, got good dollars for it when it sold, 1971 450 desmo Ducati

this one is from about 1971 on my new Yamaha XS1 650, the only Harleys I was aware of in those days in Australia were the WLA's that were left here after WWII.  The Yam went well but handling was lethal, had a bad habit of developing a tank slapper at about 100 mph, very scary, the only way you could deal with it was accelerate though the wobble, man I must have had balls in those days, I even road raced it at the local track and let me tell you when these things were pushed they did some interesting stuff in corners, oh well I survived and am now in my 50's and still riding

I rode for a few years after getting my MC license. Sold my first Honda 750 15yrs ago when the first child came along. Then 5 yrs later 2 more came along at the same time... :o Back in 2005 I bought a brand new Honda Shadow Spirit 750 just to get the wind back in my hair. I sold it about 6 months ago for 3 grand. A week before my birthday 01/30/10 I ran across this 2004 jewel for far less than it booked for. It originally was owned by the owner of my local dealer. I guess in short, When You Buy Your First Harley Just Go Straight To The TOP!!!!!
