Thanks my friend...and I installed the Kuryakyn panacea smoke-type lenses... liked it?[smiley=2vrolijk_20.gif]

Assume you wired the Radiantz LEDs into the connector in the trunk.  Any problems at all with the Panacea taillight after doing this?  I know it is very sensitive about what is on the circuit after its load equalizer.  Just want to make sure the LEDs wont' cause a problem with my Panacea taillight and turn signals.  Thanks in advance!

No problem with Panacea lights....it works fine!!...The LEDS only worksfor brake (not for run & brake) [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Ordered the Radiantz LED lights for my tour pak yesterday...called them with the measurements between the L shaped antenae holders, so they are making me a 14.7 inch Red in Red strip which will be both running and brake lights. This should allow the small wire to go up just behind the left bracket and over the lip of the bottom of the tourpak, down between the liner, and hook in to the wiring.  I'm going to stick it on the leather....I figure the whole purpose is for someone to see it, and putting it on the rack kind of hides it a bit.  I want all those cages to SEE me stopped!!  I'll let you know how the install goes.

Hey TC,  Let me know how this goes.  I'll probably do one on mine.  Pap

TC,

You might want to look at running the wire through the antenna base hole rather than up over the top.  Looks like you could carve a slight relief in the side of the antenna base to route the wire, and then seal it up with silicone.  Should be invisible.

Thanks Jerry....I'll look into that and see if its doable.  I would prefer not having the wire running over the lip, if there's a better way.  When I get the array, I'll see how everything lines up.  The way they build them, it's either got to be 14.7 inches, or 15.3...as I didn't want it extending out beyond the brackets on either side, I opted for the 14.7 version.

Damn, am I A/R or what?  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Thanks to all who have shared the ideas to improve the rear lighting on the 'Cuse. From your inspiration is my variation.

These are cateyes from Radiantz. They have 88 leds and can be wired to function as brake/tail/signal, or any variation. Extremely bright! The custom work on the bags was done by a local talent in Corpus Christi.

Again thanks for the inspiration.

Ken,
Nice touch. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I would like to see the fit/finish of the bags with lights out. Did you loose any room in saddlebags with this installation?

Thanks dOOd. Yes, about 3 inches deep x 4 wide. We tried several different angles, decided on this one. Mainly due to keeping water out. It is on a decline to drain down. I most likely will add load equalizers to run the signals, this will take the room below the insets on the interior of the bags.

Many of my friends have commented on the high visibility using these cateyes.

Ken, like the look.  In fact really like it a lot.  Congrats on what appears to be a nice job and well done.  As much as I like it, couldn't lose the space though.  Bummer.

Yea, it is a compromise. My personal riding habits allow the loss of space. However, this October will be my first full year back in the saddle. Am planning an extended trip from Texas to Washington. My concern is that I will miss the extra space at that point.

If MoCo would have given us just a little more room in the tourpack...

That's the difference for me I guess Ken.  I don't really bar hop or put around town on the bike.  At least not a great deal.  If I'm on it it's often going someplace far enough that I'm packing for the trip.  So I gots to have my space.
