im starting to think that none of the aftermarket exhaust parts for 09 will even vaguely fit a 10. the o2 ports are in a different place, different kind & do different things.

I heard a rumor about shipping delays and did not want to wait. I found one 80 miles away and went there to get it today and I rode it home!!! I called my home dealer and told them to see what reaction I would get. I also said I would still buy the warranty from them since they went through the whole deposit thing with me. Mighty nice of me I guess.....They said they would still treat me as if I bought it there since I bought 3 others before this one all from the same place.

Call around if you want to---I found 3 within 4 hours of my house and 2 of them were within 2 hours..they are out there.

Just got my 10 SEUC. Dealer called D & D. They said they just got a 10 in and are working on moving the O2 ports. Dealer said they indicated  4-6 weeks and they may have product. I'm going to break mine in stock then do heavy breather, D & D 2-1 with ghost pipe. I'll post before and after dyno runs when I'm done.

Unless you're going to remove your lowers or at least remove the storage compartment in the right lower, the Heavy Breather will not work on the SEUC.  It's too long and will hit the storage compartment in the right lower.  If you want to move to an "open air" type breather, suggest you go to the same one that's on the 09 SERG or '10 SESG...

I have to correct myself.  I noticed that Harley does in fact have a new Heavy Breather in the 2010 P&A for bikes with lowers with the storage compartments still installed...so you can go to an HB now.   :2vrolijk_21:  Good choice, I had the HB on my 08 Street Glide and paired with V&H Pro Pipes really opened that 96" engine up...

The stock pipes and air intake are way anemic on the new bike. Very quiet and choked down. My '09 96ci Road Glide feels stronger with Vance and Hines true duals, monster ovals, heavy breather and a tune. I'm going with D&D 2 into 1 with ghost pipe, heavy breather and a dyno tune for the '10 SE. Have to wait a couple more weeks for the pipes as Harley moved the O2 ports for '10 and D&D won't have new product till then. I had a V/H Pro Pipe on my '06 built Ultra. Made lots of power, but too loud and a UC looks stupid with only one pipe. So this will be an experiment in obtaining the power you get from a 2 into 1 while lowering the sound to that sweet spot of tolerable on the cruise, but nice bark on the throttle and two pipes sticking out back. BTW, I saw a SE Street Glide on the showroom floor when I bought my SE Ultra, VERY SWEET!

Vance and Hines just updated their website for the 2010 models.  Their new header pipes will be available in October. They are also coming out with a new slip on call the "High Output Slip on" which will be available in October also.  They show it mounted to an '09 SERG and they specifically state that they are for the CVO drop bag look.  You can see them Here.
