VANCE & HINES POWER DUALS

Anyone running V&H Power Duals.  Curious to see how they perform.  Looking at installing a set and using the BUB 7 slipon's.

i have them.  My guess is that they are very close to a non-cat head pipe.  The Fullsac pipe like this had a 2-3 HP gain.  FWIW, it looks and sounds good.  There is more airflow to the left side.  Don't expect big power!

You need to get the catalytic converters out to get any real power gain.

I bought the power duals because they have no cat.  I couldn't find a stock 96" head pipe at a reasonable price.  There is definitely a big power gain over a head pipe with a cat in it.  The bike also has a TTS tune from Steve at Fullsac.

What I meant to say is that there is likely little gain from a stock head pipe with no cat, given the same mufflers and tune.  It might be a 2-3 HP difference at that point.

The V&H look good, they are a little different than what most people have, and they sound good with more balanced exhaust out the back.  I like them a lot, and would do it again.  Just don't expect big power compared to a No-Cat headpipe.

NOPE........... :cherry:

When I got my new 110,  Part of the add-on stuff was to be V&H Power duals.  The dealer (by mistake) put on V&H true duals.  The true duals DO NOT come together or merge while the Power duals do......similarly to the stock HD setup.

They switched mine out and I now have the Power duals and they are indeed a little quieter than the "true dual" set from V&H..........Which were too loud to me

She runs great!  4th gear is a rush.

No heat issues that I could detect and no pinging.  I think more could have been tuned into her, but then again, I'm always skeptical of dealer tunes.

Thanks for the info here on the V&H Power Duals, I'm bringing my 09 SERG in next week for the Power Duals, Heavy Breather, SERT, Super trapp SE slip ons and Dyno tune. I will post the results here. Not looking to hang wheelies on this pig, but more power will be nice. -Wolf...

I am putting on V&H pwoer duals this weekend and already have the 2" fullsac baffels on my SERG.  I am hoping for more sound, should that be the case?
